LapTouch is an independent continuation of the discontinued AirBar product line originally developed by Neonode, Inc. (NASDAQ: NEON). Over the past three years, NeoSapien (D/B/A Toad Tech) has privately modernized the technology in collaboration with former AirBar engineers, creating a fully updated, macOS-compatible system through a “spin-out” style initiative. This joint initiative has modernized the technology for full macOS compatibility.
The new LapTouch system builds on the proven “center-of-gravity” light-sensing principles pioneered in AirBar, now enhanced with NeoSapien’s patent-pending macOS touchscreen driver, redesigned hardware housing, updated firmware, and modern USB-C integration.

After Neonode discontinued the product and divested manufacturing assets and sensor inventory, NeoSapien began working with former AirBar engineering advisors to develop a fully modernized, Mac-compatible continuation.
