Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, rolled out the red carpet for the local community in Argentina in the first-ever Bybit P2P Meetup in Buenos Aires. The event showcased Bybit’s commitment to building communities in new markets, celebrating crypto enthusiasts and fostering connections through deep localization.
The evening was attended by about 40 guests on Sep. 20. Local traders, merchants, potential affiliates, and crypto fans mingled and shared their interest in P2P trading. P2P advertisers and local merchants took the spotlight, offering insights on how they utilize Bybit’s platform and unlocking insights and upcoming trends of the industry. Guests left not only with new knowledge but also with a sense of camaraderie, all while enjoying an Argentinian atmosphere.
For many attendees, it was their first time meeting the Bybit team in person. They seized the opportunity to dive deep into Bybit P2P’s growth story, learning about its various features and how the platform has impacted P2P trading.

This meetup also followed Bybit’s recent milestone in Argentina. On Aug. 16, it officially expanded its operations in Argentina as a licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) and card operator. The VASP license, granted by Argentina’s Financial Intelligence Unit, empowers Bybit to offer its full suite of crypto products and services to users in the region.
