BNB Chain today announced the launch of Good Vibes Only, an eight-day, fully online, build-in-public hackathon designed to empower builders of all experience levels. Running from January 22 to January 29, the event encourages participants to publicly share ideas, progress, and demos on X and GitHub, while using AI tools to accelerate development and collaboration.
By enabling the use of AI-assisted coding tools, the ‘Good Vibes Only’ hackathon lowers the barrier to entry, allowing both experienced developers and newcomers to experiment, learn, and ship projects in a short time frame.
Participants will build across a range of creative and socially driven tracks, including:
Bears Be Gone – Tools to help users survive the crypto winter
Make CT Useable Again – Apps that improve crypto social experiences
Clone Yourself – Digital twins and mirrored identities
Sanity Check – Mental health, burnout prevention, and focus tools
Touching Grass – Technology that encourages offline balance
WFH, But Better – Remote work and async collaboration tools
Builders may also propose new tracks, with additional sponsored tracks to be announced as new partners join. Each winning project will receive $1,000, with the total prize pool expected to grow as sponsors are added.
