5 Links to Add to Your Crypto PR

Putting out a crypto PR is a central part of running any business in the blockchain space. These PRs help to inform the public and the media about developments within your business and drum up necessary publicity. But if you look at any PR, including crypto PRs, you’ll notice that there’s usually a ‘media links’ section at the bottom of the page.

This is included to offer readers a chance to engage with said business if needed. After all, there’s no point, for example, in announcing that your business is launching a new product without linking to the actual business. But what links are essential for your crypto PR? And how many should you include? We’ll touch on this in this article.

Company Website

Virtually no crypto PR is complete without a proper link to your company website. Your website is the hub of everything going on in your organization and most likely the main platform through which customers can engage with your business. As such, you need to include it multiple times throughout the crypto PR. In your media links section, your website should be the first thing linked for easy navigation.

Ideally,  you also want to link to the website multiple times throughout the article, at least two or more. That way, anyone interested can immediately go from reading the crypto PR to visiting your website and perhaps making a purchase. If your business has multiple sites, link to the one that is most relevant to the crypto PR.

If you are announcing a new line of crypto miners, for example, you want to link to the page on the site that has these miners listed for sale. On the other hand, if your announcement has more to do with the corporate end, you should link to the corporate website that has the most information about you as a company, even if no products or services are listed.

Sales Pages

Sometimes, the product or service you are pushing is listed on a different one than your business website, and this needs to be front and center. For example, you might have a general business website for your NFT collection but list the assets for sale on OpenSea. In that case, you need to list both after your crypto PR. It would also be a good idea to specify that one is a business website and one is the link to the sales page. To reinforce this, make sure to link to the actual sales page throughout the article and less so for the general business website.

Social Media

In this day and age, virtually every business has social media platforms of different types. This could include Facebook pages, Instagram pages, Twitter handles, TikTok pages, and so on. As we’ve said in the previous blog post, these social media pages are important because they allow your business to showcase itself to new and existing customers, craft its brand identity, and overall show it is relevant in the digital age.

This has to be incorporated into your crypto PRs through linking. At the bottom of your crypto PR, link to all of your relevant social media pages. If your business has a Telegram page, link either to the community chat where you want readers to go or to a corporate one for responding to inquiries. Either way, your crypto PR with no social media links looks out of place these days, so avoid that.

Contact Information

When you put out a crypto PR, chances are that you want readers to connect with your business on some level. In that case, you are best off offering some manner of contact information for your business.

Sure, your website or social media handles are linked, but they are not direct contact options. Your best bet would be to set an email address for either your business directly or your PR person. This should be decided on ahead of time as you don’t want pressing queries going to your business email address if it is not designed to handle such. Also, make sure to keep this consistent across all of your crypto PRs.

You don’t want one crypto PR listing your direct business address and the other one listing that of your PR firm. Either way, make sure anyone reading the PR can easily contact your business if needed.

If you want to go the extra mile, you can also state in your media link section that all inquiries should be sent to a specific email address. If you’re going to list both your general contact information and that of your media team, specify which one media inquiries should go to and which will handle the general inquiries. This will save everyone a lot of trouble on the back end.

Partnering Companies

As we’ve said in a previous blog post, sometimes you’ll put out a crypto PR in collaboration with another company. This could be due to management changes, business partnerships, and so on. In that case, contact information and links need to be added for both companies, and this needs to be hashed out ahead of time.

One company might have its contact information listed before the other, and this sequence needs to be agreed on by both parties. If your business is the one handling the crypto PR, reach out to your partner ahead of time to get their needed media links and make sure they sign off on the version being published beforehand.

Conclusion

A Crypto PR  is hardly complete without relevant media links that allow readers to follow up on the development being reported on and engage more with your business if necessary. In this article, we’ve touched on some of the important links you need to add, including business websites, social media links, links to your partners, and specific links for making purchases. If all of these can be added to your crypto PR, it will likely be more effective, easier for readers to understand, and more professional.
